Specifications
Conductor: Threaded in a compact circular cross section, soft-temepered, bare copper electrolytic cable.
Conductor Armor Plating:Semiconductor thermal-fixed compound - 90ºC.
Insulator:Thermal-fixed (HEPR) compound - 90ºC
Insulator Armor Plating:Easily removed, thermal-fixed semiconductor compound.
Metal Armor Plating:Bare copper wires.
Separator:Non hygroscopic polyester tape, applied as a helix, covering 100% of the cable.
Sheathing:Nonflammable, black thermal-fixed (PVC) compound.
The copper conductor is a Class 2 compact product. The compacting is accomplished through an exclusive lamination process* which gives the conductor na outer circular perimeter (smooth body) insuring that the cable gets a uniform radial electric field. The HEPR insulation (a compound made up of a high dielectric rigidity) possesses excellent thermodynamic properties, allowing the use of coordinated (reduceds) thicknesses, resulting in a cable having a smaller diameter and improving the EPR inherent flexibility. The semi-conductor armor plating and the insulation have been extruded simultaneously on a coaxial head, where a perfect control over the adherence between the components is achieved. The metal part of the armor plating of the insulator is made up of copper wires distributed in a hellicoidal fashion, and by a nonflammable ST2 sheathing.
