AAC and ACSR

First, Application:

AAC and ACSR have been widely used in power transmission lines with vaious voltage levels,since they heve such good characteristics as simple structure, convention installation and maintenance, low cost for the line, large transmission capacity and are also suitable for laying across rivers and valleys where special geographical features exist.

Second, type:

1. The type of aluminum stranded conductor is JL

2. the type of the common steel core aluminum stranded conductor is JL/G1A, JL/G1B

3. the type of the high-strengthened steel core aluminum stranded conductor is JL/G2A, JL/G2B

4. the type of the super-high-strengthered steel core aluminum stranded conductor is JL/G3A

5. the type of the anti-corrosion steel core aluminum stranded conductor is JL/G1AF, JL/G2AF, JL/G3AF

Third, specification:

1.The specifications of the aluminum stranded conductor and steel core aluminum stranded conductor are denoted with conductive cross-section of hard round aluminum conductor in mm2.

2. The specification and the construction of the aluminum stranded conductor see table 1, the specification and construction corresponded with GB1179-83 table 2.

3. The specification and the construction of the steel core aluminum stranded conductor see table 3, the specification and construction corresponded with GB1179-83 table 4.

Forth, product performance:

1.The electrical performance of the aluminum stranded conductor and steel core aluminum stranded conductor is indicated in DC  Ω/km(20 ). The resistivity  of the hard aluminum wire for stranded wires is not more than the international standard value 28.264n   Ω·m.

2.The rated tensile strength of the aluminum stranded conductor is denoted with the resul of total cross-section of all  aluminum conductors multiplied by min. tensile strengh of corresponding size specified in the stranded  for aluminum conductor.

3.The rated tensile strength of ACSR is denoted with the sum of all aluminum conductor's tensile strength and steel's tensile strength.

a. aluminum tensile strength is denoted with the result of all cross-sections of the aluminum wire multiplied by min. tensile strength of corresponding size specified in the stranded for aluminum wire.

b.The tensile strength of all steel wires is denoted with the result of all cross-section os steel wires multiplied by stress at 1% elongation of corresponding size specified in the stranded for steel wire.

 4. The speciality of aluminum stranded wire see table 1, the specification and construction corresponded with GB1179-83 table 2.

5. The speciality of steel core aluminum stranded  wire see table 3, the specification and construction corresponded with GB1179-83 table 4.

Fifth,  material standard

1.The hard aluminum conductor used for the Al-clad steel core aluminum stranded wire implrments the atandard GB/T 17048-1997(equivalent to the IEC 60889: 1987).

2. The Al-clad steel wire used for the Al-clad steel core aluminum stranded wire implements GB/T3428-2002(equivalent to IEC 60888: 1987).

3. The product fits to GB/T1179-1999.

4.We can produce according to the requirement and standard of the customer.
